The arc lamp is a familiar shape for a reason: a long, cantilevered arm lets you position light directly over a sofa or reading chair without a cord running across the floor or a base cluttering the space beside you. Ours is finished in polished chrome with a honed marble counterweight, heavy enough to stay put under the reach of the arm.
The shade rotates and tilts independently of the arm, so the throw of light can be aimed precisely — wide and ambient, or narrow and direct for reading. A quiet, adaptable anchor for a living room seating group.
